Fossil-Best Ever Pro Prep Indiana Blastoid with Brachioles-Trilobite Crinoid Age

Offered here is an ultra rare, best ever I’ve had, beautifully prepared, highly detailed Pentremites girtyi blastoid with brachioles and stem from the Big Clifty Formation from Crawford County, Indiana, Mississippian in age. The blastoid with brachioles measures 5/8” long and has outstanding detail. The stem measure almost 3/8” long. The matrix measures 3” x 2 1/2”. As you can see from the pictures, the blastoid has great detail and the light calcite contrasts perfectly against the gray shaley limestone matrix. This beautiful piece was found about 30 years ago when the highway department was building I-64 between Cincinnati and Evansville.
